Accessibility statement
Initial statement 17 October 2026
BiRoot Studio is actively improving accessibility. Current support is partial and has not been independently verified. This statement describes current work and known limitations; it is not a claim of WCAG conformance, certification, or legal compliance.
Scope and reference
This statement covers the BiRoot Studio desktop application. We use the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA success criteria as a reference for improvement. We have not established that all applicable criteria are met, and we do not claim conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA or EN 301 549.
WCAG is written for web content. W3C’s WCAG2ICT guidance explains how WCAG 2 can be applied to non-web software; using it as a reference does not determine this product’s legal obligations. Read the WCAG2ICT guidance.
Current work
We are working to improve text legibility, contrast, control clarity, keyboard access, and the accessibility information available to users. Improvements are ongoing and may not yet be present throughout the application.
Known limitations
A complete WCAG assessment has not been performed. Screen-reader behavior, including macOS VoiceOver and Windows NVDA, has not been tested. Some workflows or controls may remain difficult to use. Criteria without evidence remain marked “Not tested” in the item-by-item assessment.
Testing and review
Automated checks cover shared components across four themes and six accent palettes, including contrast, selected keyboard interactions and an axe scan. These checks do not establish full-product conformance. Manual and assistive-technology checks remain incomplete. We will update this statement as checks are performed; no completion date or response-time commitment is currently established.
Feedback

Regulatory context
Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act) covers the products and services listed in Article 2, subject to the Directive and national transposition. Its application to BiRoot Studio and related services has not been determined. Article 3(23) defines a microenterprise as an enterprise with fewer than 10 persons and either annual turnover not exceeding EUR 2 million or annual balance-sheet total not exceeding EUR 2 million. Article 4(5) exempts qualifying microenterprises providing services from the service requirements in Article 4(3). A description of the business as very small is not enough to establish qualification or scope; entity data, service scope, and relevant national law still need review. This statement makes no applicability or exemption determination.
Where applicable, Annex V calls for service providers to describe how the service meets relevant accessibility requirements in their general terms and conditions or an equivalent document. This statement and the related assessment do not establish that this obligation applies or has been fulfilled.
